APRIL MISSION PROJECTBLESSING BAGS – Items will be collected to make Blessing Bags which will be distributed in Baltimore during one of the monthly Selfless Saturday events.  A pull-off poster will be in the back of the church requesting needed items and amounts.  You may also make a monetary donation (written out to GUMC, memo’d Blessings Bags), for items to be purchased for the bags.

WOMEN’S MINI-RETREAT Will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM in St. Paul’s Sunday School basement. Our theme is:  Practicum (1) – Living the Beloved.

How does knowing the truth that we are beloved affect our daily life and relationship with God?  This truth frees us to live our destiny.  How can we apply and practice that truth?  This mini-retreat will teach us to activate the truth on a practical level.  If you want freedom in your life or want to be equipped to help others, come and learn together.  Please register by Sun., April 21 by emailing the church office at: admin@stpaulssykesville.org.

  

GAITHER’S SHRED DAY/HANGING BASKET SALEWill be held on Saturday, May 4 from 1-4 PM.  The Shred Mill will accept all types of paper.  Your support of this fundraiser will be greatly appreciated.

ST. PAUL’S/GAITHER SCHOLARSHIPNEXT Sunday is the deadline to apply for the Parish Scholarship. Scholarship applications are still available on the narthex table for all youth of the Sykesville Parish. BW CONFERENCE SEEDS OF SECURITY GOLF TOURNAMENT & GALA – Will be held on Monday, April 22 from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM at Hobbits Glen Golf Club in Howard County followed by a benefit gala on Friday, at 7:00 PM in the Turn House Restaurant on Hobbits Glen grounds.  This event will support educating, advocating, resourcing, and providing safe havens for survivors of Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence.  To register for golf or attend the gala please visit:  https://www.eiseverywhere.com/sosgolf19.
