- Saint Paul’s UMC Sykesville Scholarship: The Applicant must be a member of St. Paul’s or Gaither Church, or active in St. Paul’s United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF). Scholarships are awarded based upon (in order of priority): service to the Church, service to school & community, references, essay & academic standing.
- Community Foundation of Carroll County Scholarships: specifically The Grace I. Cookson Memorial Scholarship. This multiple year scholarship was established in 1993 under the last Will and Testament of Grace Irene Cookson to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors belonging to a United Methodist Church in the Baltimore Suburban District, which includes Carroll County, of the Baltimore-Washington Conference. - General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) Scholarships: One GBHEM online application for many scholarship opportunities. The Applicant must be an active, full member of The United Methodist Church for at least one year. The application opens in mid-December and ends mid-March each year. - United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMHEF) Scholarships: Students may apply for BOTH of the main scholarships, but can only be awarded ONE scholarship by UMHEF per academic year. They offer more than $2 million of scholarships each year. The Applicant must be an active, full time member of the United Methodist Church for at least one year prior to applying. - The Baltimore-Washington Conference of The United Methodist Church Scholarship Program: provides scholarships to help supplement the financial needs of today. Scholarships are for undergraduate students enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university in the United States. Students will need to complete the online application each year.
